KTM Komuter Trains, which is part of Malaysia's Railway System add an alternative mode of travel within the city. They connect Kuala Lumpur to outlying townships within a 50km radius, namely to Rawang and Seremban, and between Sentul and Port Klang.
This rail service plys along 153km of tracks with 40 stations on two lines; the Sentul - Port Klang route and the Rawang - Seremban route which conveniently intersect at Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
